Science + Stories. What's not to love?

Sciencetellers offers programs for Halloween, National Library Week, winter and spring breaks, and for the summer reading theme each year.

We offer deeply discounted rates if you book with one or two other local libraries on the same day. You don't even have to book at the same time to receive the discount.

"Race Against Time"

Join us on a fast-paced summer adventure about two kids who find themselves racing against the clock! Before time runs outs, throw on your labcoat and buckle in — you are about to experience the science of power and energy through several explosive, hands-on experiments that will have you laughing, learning and having fun! We will make things float, bounce, soar and transform right before your eyes, all while exploring the concepts of surface tension, air pressure, chemical reactions, the law of inertia, scientific variables and more!

Length: 45 minutes
Grades: K–5
Single show: $365
Two libraries, same day: $330 each
Three libraries, same day: $315 each

Certain locations may be assessed a travel fee. However, the program price is still discounted if you block-book with another library in the area.

"DRAGONS & Dreams" (Dry Ice Show)

In a faraway world with castles, kings and an Evil Ice Sorceress, two brave villagers take a daring journey to release the dragon and save the entire kingdom!

Join us as we learn about dry ice and the changing states of matter through the tale of "Dragons & Dreams." Wouldn't dragon's breath be an amazing sight to see?! Well, get ready to see it ... feel it ... smell it ... maybe even taste it! This story features interactive and explosive experiments with dry ice, fog, bubbles, flying rockets and more.

Enjoy this spectacular adventure and be swept away to a world where dragons are real and dreams come true — and where only the most daring of people will survive to tell the tale!
