Ahoy there! Set sail with us on a thrilling action-packed adventure about a crew of quirky pirates marooned on a desert island. With mutiny and high-tide looming, they must rescue their salty captain and find a way off the island before all hope is lost … at sea!

Throughout the story, volunteers from the audience will help us explore the incredible science behind clouds, combustion, air pressure, physical and chemical changes, inertia, pressure, scientific variables and more. Don't miss this refreshing nautical tale with a twist!

Beyond the Assembly

Our goal is to foster a deeper learning experience that goes beyond the assembly, expanding into the classroom and ending at home. Before your assembly, we will send you our three enrichment guides. You can also download them right from this page.

Study Guide
Before the assembly, the Study Guide helps teachers prepare their students for the information that will be presented in the program, including key scientific vocabulary and principles, as well as literary terms and concepts applicable to the storytelling portions of the show.

Critical Thinking Guide
Our Critical Thinking Guide encourages purposeful reflection and discussion following the program, allowing students to relate what they learned in the assembly to their own personal experiences, as well as to other academic disciplines.

At-Home Activity Guide
ScienceTellers does more than just facilitate science experiments. We bring people together to learn by sharing an experience. In line with this philosophy, we provide students a science experiment to do at home with a family member to continue the learning and to create new shared experiences.
